Highmark Power partnered with Aecon Green Energy Solutions and Amazon Canada to develop a dedicated electric vehicle (EV) charging hub at their delivery facility in Burnside Industrial Park, Dartmouth, NS. This initiative supports Amazon’s commitment to reducing carbon emissions by electrifying its delivery fleet.


Project Highlights

  • Charger Deployment: Installation of 15 Level 2 chargers to accommodate Amazon’s growing fleet of electric delivery vehicles.

  • Power Infrastructure: Upgraded electrical systems to support high-capacity charging, ensuring efficient energy distribution and minimal downtime.

  • Collaboration: Worked closely with local utilities and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and optimal performance.


Impact

The completion of this project marks a significant step in Amazon’s sustainability journey, enabling the company to operate a cleaner, more efficient delivery fleet in the Halifax Regional Municipality.
