EV Charging Infrastructure Rollout

As part of a growing commitment to clean transportation and sustainable mobility in Nova Scotia, Highmark Power is proud to support Communauto Atlantic in the rollout of EV charging infrastructure across the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM).

Communauto Atlantic, a leader in carsharing services, has introduced fully electric vehicles into its Halifax fleet, with the goal of making zero-emission travel more accessible to local residents. To support this transition, Communauto needed a reliable and scalable charging solution capable of serving its EV fleet at key carshare locations throughout the city.

Highmark Power was selected as a trusted partner for this initiative, leveraging our experience in EV infrastructure and urban deployment. We provide turnkey installation services, including conduit runs, panel upgrades, and final commissioning of Level 2 Chargers at sites across HRM.

Highlights:

• Charger Installation at multiple carshare locations, including prominent downtown sites such as Scotia Square and The Curve building.

• Coordination with Municipal Stakeholders and private property managers to ensure charger accessibility, visibility, and reliability.

• Alignment with HRM’s HalifACT Plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and accelerate the shift to clean energy.
